INFORMATION ON COOKIES

WHAT ARE COOKIES?

Cookies are short text messages that your browser (Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Internet Explorer, etc.) stores on a site request, and will deliver to the same site or other sites, depending on the browser settings and on the nature of the cookie.

WHAT ARE COOKIES FOR?

Generally speaking, they are used to deliver information from the browser to a site without asking the user each time. They can also be used for advertising or profiling purposes, but it is not the case here.

WHY DO YOU USE COOKIES?

Each time you connect to a site page, cookies are used to determine wether you are already logged in or not. Without cookies, the site would be forced to ask your authentication credentials (user, password) each time, this is why you cannot navigate the the Q-ID portal corporate section without cookies.

I KNOW THAT COOKIES CAN BE USED TO PROFILE USERS BASED ON HER/HIS NAVIGATION; ARE YOU DOING SUCH THING?

Absolutely not.

DO YOU SEND OR SHARE INFORMATION WITH OTHER SITES OR COMPANIES?

Definitely not.

HOW TO DISABLE COOKIES

This depends on your browser, it is usually easily done by accessing the browser preferences/settings menu. But remember, you cannot navigate the corporate user pages without cookies!
